I think Iman is a guy that if he played for a big time college team like Duke, UNC etc. he'd have been rated higher. We caught a break getting this kid, cuz a lot of analysts overlooked this kid. His few flaws are VERY fixable and his strengths are things you wish for in a guard. Size, length, speed, hops, handle, rebounding, hustle and he has a FIRE in his belly. This is the kind of player you want. Walsh wasn't looking at him as a project. He felt he could help much like Fields. We'll see, but from my point of view, I don't see why he can't bring the ball up and get the offense started which is about all many PG's do in this league anyway.
At 6-6 he will have excellent view of the court and should be able to make good decisions of who to give the ball to. I think he'll see the play and make the pass. A lot of his success will be up to MDA and Woodson to get in his head and guide him. It would've been great to have had SL so that they could get him started.
