I saw Baron in his first game as a Cav, Melo's second game. Baron looked great. Melo made Jamison look pretty good also.

It's the threes that worry me about Baron. He loves to take them, but he's not necessarily consistent making them.

I don't think Davis will make it to waivers either.
Is is possible that they saw Shumpert in practice and believe he can eventually take the leading PG spot?
He attended training camp early, its a quite possible...

I wonder what position we would look to use the MLE on and if we are using it on one player or splitting it?

both deserves consideration

I believe the MLE can be used by all teams that aren't in the 70ish million tax paying range.
Unlike prior seasons, where you couldn't use it till you were over the cap....
