Would Hill/RJ/Carter be a top 2 player on the Knicks at either SF or SG? The bonus is whether we could live with any of these guys for stretches at PG.
SF: Carmelo + Shawne
SG: Fields, Walker, Iman, Douglas
I think RJ is kind of like an older Wilson Chandler. Not sure if his athleticism is still intact - but playing the Bruce Bowen role in SA didn't do him justice. If he's still got the springs, he's probably a better player than any of the SGs at this point.
Vince Carter... argh. Big fan - not sure where his athleticism is either. He'll probably be in the HOF at some point. I like his ability to play PG for stretches. And I think that even though he may have lost half a step, he can still turn the corner and elevate. He'd bring star power - just a few critical years late. Not sure how much is left in the tank. Defense was serviceable before... long arms made steals happen. Could be a liability there.
