In what world is Battier a guard? "Battier gives them tremendous size in the backcourt if they play Wade at the point."

If Battier signs with the Heat then it is LeDouche who will run point and not Wade.

Apparently they are also interested in Oden.

Battier's impact is overhyped....as long as it keeps them from getting Oden.

battier just announced on twitter he's signing with the heat. between haslem and battier, the heat will be much better defensively this season. but for some reason this move doesn't bother me as much as if they'd gotten a real center or point guard.

Heat also signing Eddy Curry. Looks like he lost some weight. Could be a big move for them.

Watch Eddy Curry beast this year in the playoffs.

He is in an ideal position. The guy is only good for 15-20 minutes max a night anyway. Curry has GREAT hands especially around the basket which is more than I can say for Joel Anthony.

yeah, chances that curry is out for the year with a hammy strain by december 20th seem pretty high. likelihood that he's on the regular season roster seems like a stretch. making the post-season roster... that's just not going to happen.
