well....all three really, but if you had to choose. Personally, I would carve out about 10M for a good center and then use the rest plus the exceptions to fill out the team.
C - Defensive big man who can give you a dbl/dbl
PG - Good ball distributor
SG - someone with outside pop and can also guard the wing

I still don't like this Melo trade. Having flexibility to play with is a very big deal is this league. We are pinning all our hope on getting CP3 which means we will have little to no depth on our bench and two other starting positions.

Having Felton, Moz, Gallo, Chandler (possibly) Randolph going into this season and maximizing their ability to be traded would have been the prudent move. I would much rather rather went hard at defensive minded guys like Affalo, Deandre Jordon and tried to pull an in season trade.

When you factor in Amare has now suffered knee, eye and back injuries it's nice to have someone to pair next too and behind him in order to keep him healthy.

I voted for a center...would spend 7-10 M on a quality big man and use any remaining cap space on depth.

Center
(name, team – 2012-13 salary – status)

DeMarcus Cousins, Sacramento Kings – $3.9 million – Team Option ($4.9 million)
Ekpe Udoh, Golden State Warriors – $3.5 million – Team Option ($4.5 million)
Emeka Okafor, New Orleans Hornets – $13.5 million – Early Termination Option ($14.5 million)
Andris Biedrins, Golden State Warriors – $9.0 million – Early Termination Option ($9.0 million)
Tiago Splitter, San Antonio Spurs – $3.9 million – Unrestricted*
Zaza Pachulia, Atlanta Hawks – $5.3 million – Unrestricted
Brad Miller, Minnesota Timberwolves – $5.1 million – Unrestricted
Timofey Mozgov, Denver Nuggets – $3.1 million – Unrestricted*
Kevin Seraphin, Washington Wizards – $1.8 million – Team Option ($2.8 million)
Cole Aldrich, Oklahoma City Thunder – $2.4 million – Team Option ($3.2 million)
Johan Petro, New Jersey Nets – $3.5 million – Unrestricted
Dexter Pittman, Miami HEAT – $0.9 million – Unrestricted*
Byron Mullens, Oklahoma City Thunder – $2.3 million – Restricted ($3.3 million Qualifying Offer)
Jon Brockman, Milwaukee Bucks – $1.0 million – Unrestricted
Marcus Cousin, Houston Rockets – $ – Unrestricted*

There aren't any quality centers on that list who are obtainable. Best one for us could be Andris Biedrins. He is definitely serviceable. Good rebounder, defender and is used to playing uptempo. I'be had my eye on him for a while now.
