Rodmans speech was extremely touching. It show's he has gained some humbleness. Hopefully he can actually put it to use in his life now.

As for Marbury... tsk tsk tsk. Even after the guy lost the step, the man had all he talent in the world to be great on both ends. He never made a commitment on defense though and he just never had the humbleness to improve himself. He felt he didn't need help from anyone. Sad. He's now the laughing stock of the NBA when he should be celebrated as one of the great players of all time.

This was more of a confession than a HOF speech. Worth watching

That was VERY interesting. Yeah, the last couple of minutes were more of a confession. His mannerisms are a little strange at times. I'm not sure if it's just because he was nervous and emotionally overcome or something else.

I think he was overcome with emotions. In the highlights before his speech they showed when he won defensive player of they year with the Pistons. He cried and was barely able to talk. That was before all of his provocative behavior off the court, tats, hair dye etc.

Dennis never bought his off court antics on to the court. I used to have my son sit and watch his game. It was not about the hair or the piercings but the guy could flat out change a game.

He didn't "miss games"!

Wow. Dude definitely should have gotten with a speak writer to help with the delivery, but it was a speak from the heart. Nice to see Rodman still maintaining.

He has a pretty wife and family.

Trust the Process

You're right. I just looked that up. He was a league MVP though.

At least Marbles will always have his own personal column in the NY Pist, even if he does ghost write it. I wonder when people will realize that berman actually died three years ago...
