^ y2zipper, I think some of your assumptions are a tad incorrect.

Rautins, Walker, Brown, Shawne Williams contracts are all team options (i think) or something like that.

I think Harrelson and Jordan stick to team just because of circumstance.

Same with Shawne Williams. I think they WANT Brown to stick but am unclear if he wants to stay.

My guess is that the team also would like Anthony Carter to be around in case Billups has injury during year, but it is questionable if he wants NY.

NY does not have a knock down guard off the bench besides Walker, so he is questionable to come back.

I only used the trade machine to look at who was there, so it's probably not the most accurate source of contract information. It looks like it doesn't have this season as being quite over yet, lol.

I checked Hoopshype, and it looks like Rautins and Fields are expiring at the same time at the end of next season, but the Knicks appear to have no team options or control of anybody you mentioned, so it looks like there's flexibility after next year with everyone except Balkman. Maybe that's a little more accurate, but most of my assumptions other than Rautins were correct. That really only opens up another slot unless somebody's an RFA.
