Yeah but he was logging more minutes and I just don't think he's that out of it that he can't understand the Knicks wanting to get Timo going. The kid has a shot to be more of an impact player at the C spot. Timo has center size and seems more durable. Turiaf is always hurt. I mean it's his one big flaw.

You really can't say that he was frustrated with the philosophy because he came from Golden State. It is hard to speculate on why, it is to bad Sheridan wasn't more clear.

who is to say he wasn't pissed in G State?

If he was unhappy with the coach, I think it was less about MDA's lack of defensive emphasis and more about his laid back style. Turiaf is an intense guy - I liked him when the Lakers drafted him- and I bet he couldn't stand some of the loafing that went on with our players- and maybe he would have liked MDA to be more vocal...

Has it been said why he was unhappy in the locker room? OR we just speculating?

Maybe the fabric softener was wrong? Ice cubes not clear enough? Wrong butter substitute?

I could see him thinking Moz didn't beat him out to be a starter, no matter how many minutes he logged...When Turiaf played, he did do a decent job for us...

I didn't want to trade him before just because I liked him. If this is true it would be alot easier to see him get traded and it probably will be better for the team depth wise to get someone more dependable.

Turiaf couldn't stay healthy and he would foul at the worst moments, sometimes shifting the momentum of games. I appreciate his energy
under the boards but its not like he's indispensable. We need an upgrade anyway.

Saw a story that Jeffries was our best +/- center the other day. Turiaf was pretty bad numbers wise.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

saw that. Turiaf was OK, a good second big off the bench, when he was healthy.

After watching him for long periods, his deficiencies on defense - what he is known for - were exposed.
