In years when this is true, the days leading up get fans all excited. We can give up cash, or players who we know can play for the hope and promise of a future prospect.

If Spurs are selling I'd be suspect as this is the team best at drafting and being patient with getting players and stashing them in the 4 corners of the world.

I, like most of you have no problem with us buying picks with other peoples money.

I'm positive that we can buy a pick and not have to give up anything more than money. There are always teams that have no use for a young prospect that isn't guaranteed of sticking or that they just don't have time to spend trying to develop.

I hope we are looking to buy late 1st rounders though history dictates thar usually we are the team that has prospects we don't want or have patience for.
