If Brooks is a good enough shooter and defender to compliment Anthony, then he is a great pick. I'm also liking what i hear about Klay Thompson with the Allan Houston comparisons being thrown around a lot. Even if he isn't as good as Houston, which is likely the case, that is the type of player we need at the 2. I'm starting to think one of these SGs might be the way to go, as we know either can contribute right away as a starter or direct backup to Fields.

Brooks sounds good. Now we just need another backup PG so we can get rid of TD

Do we really need another ball dominant wing? His assist to turnover ratio is 2:3

From his draftexpress profile:

"Brooks often has tunnel vision when in the process of trying to create and hasn't shown much in terms of being able to set up his teammates. His turnover rate is up this season due to his poor shot-selection and the large load he's carrying on the offensive end, and his negative assist-to-turnover ratio illustrates some of his questionable decision making skills."

Rose is not the answer.

Brooks was asked to score alot in college, so it remains to be seen whether he can change his game. He has all the tools, and the only reason he might be available at 17 is because teams question whether he can be a team player. I would take him, but I would rather Jimmer or Reggie Jackson.

I'm impressed by the Brooks video. I wouldn't mind him at 17.

I think I'm still on the Best Player Available bandwagon. Even if he doesn't fit our needs, we need assets. Rather go for some solid talent over reaching for need.
