i smell a sheriff shaq reality show coming soon.

gotta say i hated shaq when he first broke into the league. i was a young die-hard knicks fan and i just didn't like the dude. though, by all accounts, he seems like a genuinely good guy. he grew on me over the years. he made a major mark. i'm sure he'll be successful in whatever he does next.

Top 4 center for sure.

My ranking is:

(The gods)
Kareem
Wilt
Shaq
Hakeem
Russell

Im thinking Kareem got 6 MVPs and Six Rings. Wilt underacheived but did nt have teams that good. When he go to Lakers he wanted to prove he was a team guy. They should have won two rings, not just one. He got one with 76ers.

Wilts stats were just crazy.

Russell was the catalyst but had great teams around him. He only shot 44% from the field which is low for a center. The dude was a winner and consumate team player.

Hakeem was unreal defender and had some crazy offensive talent. I'd take him over Russell. Both great athletes but Hakeems offensive game was far more developed at the back end of his career.

ON some lists you will likely find Russell no. 1. Same perhaps with Wilt. This is the elite of the big men.

Where is ewing? I don't know where he goes.

(Next Level with championship Bling)

Moses Malone
Reed
Walton (brief window)
Mikan
Tim Dunan
Wes Unseld
David Robinson

The rest (*) denotes bling
Ewing
Cowens*
Parish*
Bellamy
Gilmore
Lanier
Thurmand
Dwight Howard
Mourning* (reserve player when won)
Mutumbo

I think all time bigs are noted for having a championship more than any other position. Ewing gets more more knocks than Barkley, stockton, Malone, or Payton.

Its been a while since he dominated but when Shaq did it was something else. Great career, great ambassador for the game.
