Actually - for those wishing Maximum hurt on Lebron - the best thing would be for them to get to the finals, and then get swept!

Ratings - imagine OKC & Miami? I bet Stern is having a nightmare about that one- and to some extent- that impacts league revenue & as we're maxed out on 2 players, we need all the room we can get!

Personally - would like to see Dallas win- the refs screwed them last time with all the phantom calls on wade!

I think Stern is just happy its can't be Memphis-ATL! Or OK-ATL.

Worst? Memphis-Milwaukee final!

I'd say Minny but for Minny to be there Rubio will be a marketing star. Lebron and Cav's bought good ratings.

League with OK can promote Durant as the "Big Star".

Basketball fans don't car but you don't get ratings with out stars. Just Ask Donnie why Dolan humped Denver's leg?

Maybe you are referring to the 6.2 rating that Lebron got when Duncan smoked them in 4 games?

Things may be different if Lerbron makes it - there will be two sides rooting for and against him.

OKC and Miami would threaten to set a new low for ratings of an NBA final.

True on the finals, I was referring more to the subsequent playoff series. His trip to finals was the first and his exposure did take off from there.

And have to blame Spurs a bit also as they are not the most charasmatic team. A 4-0 sweep carries no intrigue either. I wonder if a series is tied 2-2 if ratings go up for the last 3 games if it gets that far?

Im not watching a whole lot these days. Tuned in for the second half last nite and watch Bulls just take them Heat a part!

I'm going with Mavs FTW! As for the current EC series, gotta go Bulls out of spite.

I don't hate Lebron and the hate like everyone else here. I'm rooting for him.

I guess when we have our first playoff matchup with this new Miami the seeds of hate will be sown.

I don't see how anyone can root for fake athletes on top of fake athletes who continue to lie and are made of inferior material. Lebron burns under 1rst degree.... never will get close to the 3rd it won't take that kind of HEAT

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade admitted they strongly considered signing with the Bulls.

"It was two mornings," Wade said at Friday's practice of waking up during the summer of 2010 envisioning himself with Chicago.

"I definitely had one or two mornings where I woke up thinking I'd be a Bull too, but ultimately I decided to come here," James said.

Wade grew up in Chicago and admired the Michael Jordan teams of the nineties.

"It was flattering," Wade said. "I grew up in the city and grew up with my dreams of becoming an NBA player with the Chicago Bulls. They gave a great presentation, great opportunity. I just felt that the Miami opportunity was better. That's what it came down to."

"I think it was very close," said Wade's agent Henry Thomas to ESPNChicago.com. "We obviously -- before the process started -- we talked about how we were going to handle it. Once we began and once the presentations were made, the Bulls' presentation was as good as any -- if not better.

"The decision became a lot more difficult than he imagined how it would be. Obviously for him the Chicago one was special because he grew up here. As a young kid, he idolized Michael [Jordan] and all those teams. I know when we went in for the presentation, they had a uniform with his name and number on it. As a kid growing up here you dreamed of having that uniform on. For that reason it was difficult."

When asked about his meetings with the Chicago front office, James spoke highly of them as well.

"It was definitely flattering," James said Friday. "It was a great meeting with that team and that franchise knowing the history. There was great things that they said but at the end of the day, I felt like this was the best opportunity for me to win a championship. It was a great experience."

I mean who really believes these 2 fake dudes?

I'm rooting for whomever will lose to the West Conf. champs. I'd hate for the trio-de-douche to get a ring or for Chicago to get another ring before the Knicks do. I've got no beef with the Thunder and I actually really like the Mavericks and their owner. So, again, I go with the team that can't beat the West. Unfortunately I think both teams CAN beat the West I just don't want them to.

Sure. He's saying he wants the West to win it this year. I am totally ob board with that sentiment, but prefer (D)irk gets his chip this year because he is a special player and deserves one. Ditto for Durant, but he's a youngin and has plenty of time to get one.

Makes sense to me.

Perhaps Mavs with Vet roster is "tempered" from expereince. Kidd has been to finals twice, Dirk and Jet once and the bigs are experienced.

OK has to go thru a loss at a high level to get to the next tier. Maybe they have the talent anyway.

As for Heat, those three clowns I hope just go away.

This Bulls team is not the Jordan Bull Killers of dreams they were 20 years ago. Rose is not obnoxious, Deng is a solid dude, and Noah is cool. Booze is a bit over the top but a good player who really did work hard to exceed second round pick and put in teh work. Two Dookies!

I'd like to see Mavs-BUlls with the Mavs taking it.

Anything short of a chip is a failure in Miami.

A series win by Miami would be on another channel in my house. Game 7 would be fun though.

Same. Aside from being a Knicks fan, I'm a basketball fan. I happen to like Lebrons game, so I'm rooting for him.

Same for me. There's no way in hell I want to see Lebron win a ship, and I hate Chicago too. I'm rooting for Chi in the ECF, but hopefully Dallas takes it all.

Former Knick as a coach! Very likeable team (for now at least - until one of them say "i'm taking my talents to xxxx").

Unless xxxx = NYC

So he's rooting for Chicago or Miami doesn't make a difference who, as long as the lose to OKC or Mavs. Odd way of putting it

Dallas or OKC - why on earth do we care about the Bulls or the hoes from South Beach? As long as both of them get their hearts broken I'm good.
