No way do I throw in the pick though. Getting Philly out from under that contract gotta count for something.

Iggy is a great option because he is an immediate upgrade at SG, a strong defender, and can play facilitator. We would need to make sure we have a strong 3-point shooter at the PG if we got him.

Iggy at $13M, so only way is with exchange of Billups.

If the Sixers are interested in shedding salary, I would explore that deal, and hope Jimmer Fredette/Josh Selby/Shelvin Mack is available to draft

yeah, I would think about it too. Iggy an interesting player, especially the way Collins played him last year: psuedo PG wing guy with locked down ability from SF on down. It would free up Melo to do what he do and take any pressure off a new PG.

I stand corrected. Thought Turiaf made 10 mil. Hmmmm....not sure I would be able to get rid of Billups unless I knew he would be cut and resigned unless we got a cheaper vet in his place.

I am having a difficult time with this thread. The idea of taking on Iggy's salary makes no sense to me. Let's get through the draft and a new CBA before we make any cap killing trades.
