I hope not b/c if we go PG with our pick, JJ4 will be the only true center on the roster. We need this kid to work his way into the rotation and play 12-18 minutes a game.

If he plays hard I see no reason why he'd be in the doghouse. Guys that play hard are rewarded here and that's pretty much been the history. Let's hope Jordan has a motor and drive to be an NBA player. In my book any new player needs to come with the attitude that he's a hungry pit bull looking for some meat. I don't wanna hear about emotions and feelings.

This doesn't go along with how things went for Douglas his rookie year. He has always been praised for his work ethic, and yet didn't get consistent minutes until the Texas road trip in March of that year. When you consider that he was playing behind Duhon on a 29 win team it doesn't make a lot of sense and it appeared that the intervention that got him playing time was the gm traveling with the team.

Yea just like Zach Randolph and Crawford. I guess they are bums too. We have very little patience. Now we a stuck for another year and who knows what Amare will look like in a couple of years. We will probably be looking to through him under the bus.

My favorite conspiracy theory. The Famous "Texas intervention".

Its never "hey Mike, Im coming along to see how the kid does".

Its always more like a clint eastwood kind of threat: " hey, Mike, THink the kids plays, isn't that RIGHT?"

What was reported about Walsh traveling with the team was that he was traveling to evaluate the players and coaching staff on his team. As far as it being a conspiracy theory, check the game log for last year.

Obviously there are two sides but at least the coach came out and said that he played a role in Darko not being a part of things after the seventh game of the season.

Even Darko admitted that he came in with a sense of entitlement and also admitted to NOT giving his all in practice.

Unless your a superstar you better bust your ass in practice. That's just NBA 101.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

man... after the mishandling of the Darko situation I was really concerned about MDA's ability to reach players that could elevate us to the status of the elite. This cements it. He's got to go

Hey Mike D don't have to play any of our new talent. The difference is now Mike D is on the clock and if he sits players who can help this team because of his ego he will be fired. Mike D is on a short string. He ran Amare into the ground and I wonder what Amare will look like next season. Randolph could have helped last season. Please don't tell me he was a head case. Hell Mike D is a head case thinking we can win a championship shooting 3s and never calling time outs. Never no set plays just putting up 3s.and no defense.

1. Mike is an NBA Coach and all of them have an ego.
2. Mike doesn't just sit players for no reason. We may not agree with him, but he has his reasons.
3. Amar'e was overused, but Mike rested him by not making him practice full contact. If we had anyone that could adequately sub in for him it would be easier to rest him. The Trade didn't help, thanks to Dolan. We got smaller.
4. AR is a guy that can't function in a very complicated system. He needs to be able to just wing it and all that thinking messed him up. Some guys just can't deal with BB on a very technical level. They don't think the game, they just react on instinct. The guy was lost out there.
5. The offense has set plays. It's not just about hitting 3's, but when you don't have any PG's that can run the rest of the offense, what you're left with is 3's. Go get the SSOL playbook and look at the plays before you make assumptions about what the offense is.
6. Defense will improve when we can add the Quality size we need. The initial defense isn't bad it's that they can't finish off possessions by securing the rebound. Also doesn't help when STAT is the last line of defense cuz he's not always attentive to his role.
