No matter how we feel about the C's, they're still capable of remembering how great they are. I don't think this one game means that the C's are fixed and will play on this level every game from here on out. It could easily be just one hot game. Knicks have to win the next game and take it from there. It's all you can do.

Prolonging the series has value even if we don't win 4 in a row. Remember we still have young players that need to experience all of this. Plus going thru this will serve to inspire a deeper bond among the players going into next year. I hope they win the next game and stretch this out and prevent them celebrating on our home floor.

Very good points. We're not going to win four straight, but we CAN get some playoff experience for whatever guys will still be here next season, and there's tremendous value in that. Plus, avoiding a Celtics sweep is essential to all of our mental health.

Coach gotta play the bigs.

IMHO, the Knicks haven't been beaten by Boston's bigs so much as RayRay and Pierce have beaten them.

I don't disagree, just think it will take better defense of those two and some size for reboubding and defending the middle. I would like Shelden to get some time. Garnett is too strong for Jefferies. Seems like he can overpower him to get whatever shot he wants when he is on the block. This flawed system is the real culprit.

Sheldon is comfortable guarding KG out to 20 feet? And then who helps TD slow Rondo? In this past game KG had 9 points, Oneal had 6. It was Ray and Pierce.

What system would be better when you are down your PG and Amare is playing like caca? To me it's the players. Melo and Amare sucked. I guess you could say our defense kept losing their perimeter guys. AC could have played more.

In this situation we are pinning our hopes that perhaps the likes of AC and Sheldon can be the keys to slowing down and beating Boston.

Well, that too. When I talk about the worst bench, I'm taking into account that we apparently only have three starters; everyone else is really bench material. Billups is worthy of being a starter, but I'm not a fan of his game at this stage of his career. The depth of this team is the absolute worst in the NBA.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

i say only Turiaf,Jeffries, Walker and Shawne Williams are the guys outside Melo and Stat, that are playing well this playoffs.

Fields and Douglas dissapoint me the most because they look flat out scared during this series.

2004 ALCS - Boston down 0-3 come back to take it from the Yanks.

Yes, it still stings, but it's time to give back some of the pain.

Knicks in 7.

...**** Boston!

I think they can win 2 games in a row but not 3 or 4 we just have no depth , Fields in stinking it up consistently and Tony cannot run the damn offense , The Celtics keep loading up on Melo forcing him into bad shots, Dantoni is supposed to be this offensive genius he needs to find a way to free up Melo cause he is our only hope considering Amare is prob done not to mention Billips.
No layups!

the only play i see is douglas runs the ball up the follr then gives it to melo people just stand up and when the double team arrives the open man gets the shot, now that sounds logical not wehen your Jared Jeffries!!

First thing MDA needs to do is get Melo off the ball and stop asking him to run the point forward. As soon as he crosses the half-cout line, they are waiting to double. Let Douglas or AC run the point and have Melo come off and pop up from the baseline. Clear the side out for him and run back screens on the weakside. If a celtic flashes over to double, Melo will see it and will have a teammate darting to the basket on a backdoor cut from the weakside.
