MAN WE GOT ROBBED!!! How can anyone not see that is a foul right in front of the ref? You can clearly see that KG moves over and clips TD with his lower leg extended and elbow out.

It's OK tho. We'll have our revenge in this series. It's a long way from over.

lol. i see what you're talking about, but i feel that's a clean play.

you gotta do what you gotta do. it's not excessively dirty, and if i'm TD, if KG does that to you, you take him down with a torn ACL, which is easy to do.

as i'm falling i grab on to his leg and twist like mark twain, feigning a stumble.

absolutely mind-boggling how some guys on this board are obviously rooting against the knicks. i'm pretty much of a freethinker but i do condemn you chicken-hearted turncoats.

That clearly was a tripping foul. In a game with probably about 100 different calls, I don't think it makes sense to fuss over one of them though.

Those of us critical of the starphucking approach have been told that constantly for the past 10+ years even though we've been right each time.

has nothing to do with the question of whether pepole are rooting for them or not now they're in the playoffs. pretty revealing. as they say "it's all good." people are free to do whatever they want. everyone's true colors are showing and it's interesting to see.

its always us against the world when it comes to ny sports, don't know why, but national media always hates ny teams, and refs always screw us

fck them all, lets go out there tomorow and destroy the celtics, put sheldon out there to set some bad screens on pearce ane allen on purpose to bang them up at least somewhat. opposing big men have been doing it our guards for a while this year

jeffries shold start a fight with kg lol

A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

We're people not rooting for the Knicks when they criticized the team with previous starphucking? I'm one of the few who won't buy into anything and everything Dolan is selling. A real Knick fan doesn't do that. It's sad so many people do.

again i'm looking at them as 2 entirely different things. to have "criticized the team with previous starphucking" or being "one of the few who won't buy into anything and everything Dolan is selling" is totally fine imo. but once the playoffs are ON, against boston of all teams, and we have an intense nailbiter to the wire with them, then how do you characterize peoples' responses when they don't act like they’re into the games or team at all, that they’re still detached and practicing trade bashing and criticisms of the knick players as if nothing is going on, like say perhaps A 1ST ROUND PLAYOFF SERIES FOR WHICH TO GET MAD STOKED ABOUT!?!?!?!? that's what been blowing my mind, cats who maintain their emotional distance from the playoffs in order to still run their “anti-trade” agendas. you feel me? What’s with people who can’t get into an awesome playoffs series after all these years and instead are still playing the snarky little games about the trade???? Why be a fan of a team at all if you can’t get deeply into the passion and glory of a playoff war?!?!?! Splain me that?

You're making too many assumptions. My guess is few people here were more excited than I was at half time of last game. The statistician in me knew better but I really wanted to believe we were seeing a new Carmelo in the 7 game stretch where he was awesome. That said, you're sounding a lot like holfresh and nixluva during the Isiah era if you want there to be periods in which no criticism or only weak criticism is allowed.

how's this for an assumption - you'd be a lot better off if you put that security-seeking "statistician in me" to sleep more and brought out that "excited" and "really wanted to believe" you. sure you're gonna get let down, hurt, brusied, angry at times - but it's a hell of a lot better way to live than pulling back into your turtle shell. got any "efficiency" stats on that?

Some of you guys simply suck as the Celtics and the officiating. IN A GAME FULL OF CALLS, come on! If you are a ref, you LIVE for the final minute of a playoff game. As such, you have to know when to let them play and when to stop the play. We have a case of both here and since one happened after the other one, you can't simply close your eyes and move away. You don't call the offensive foul on Melo ever in a playoff game. You guys haven't seen the same struggle from Kobe and Pierce, for example, before? They never call that foul. That was clearly to take a possession away from NY in the most important seconds of the game.

Now, if you call the offensive foul, you can't EVER ignore the moving screen foul that sends Douglas flying away in the most important play to defend. It was indeed disgraceful and an obvious foul! Play should've been stopped and the shot shouldn't have counted. Simple as that.

Anybody that comes here not giving these plays the right importance should simply go to a Celtics board and rejoice with them, for all I care. Its the freaking first time in a decade we have great playoff game and some here don't care? Go away ppl!

Marv for prez!

Marv is going primal for the playoffs!

Gotta admit I was very into the game and started yelling. I normally don't do it.

I took my prophylactic anti starphucker suit off and am all in as much as I can be.

As far as national media is concerned that crap don't bother me. Knicks have gotten deservingly bad press for most of ten years and homer fans can't stand that. The truth does hurt.

It all gets sorted out on the court. In the end they will get reported fairly. Don't get swept and we'll make progress. Win the series and your starting to turn the tide.

I said "Starting" cuz it won't end.

A few winning seasons, go deeper in the playoffs and you'll read differently.
