![]() We don't need Chauncy to win this series even though I would rather have him here. We need Amare and Melo to do what they do and Tony to play under control, I wanna see this team push the ball now and run over the Celtics.
No layups!

![]() while I get the sentiment of this, I can't see hwo thinning out a thin bench is a good idea
PS I remember getting CRUSHED when I said trading Felton for Billups would be a downgrade. At the time Is aid it had to do with age, pace, and minutes. DLeethal wrote:

![]() hopefully td starts and drop 30 on like 9 3s, at the risk of sounding like the blob, TD is gonna drop buckets on em :)

![]() An inordinate amount is riding on Douglas & Fields. We know Melo and Stat gotta show up, but the rest is a crap shoot.
JO was their X-factor. Who will be ours? |

![]() Toney makes everyone nervous when he is bringing the ball up the court.
But, Billups is highly overated. ESPN state over the past 5 years 5-27 in Game winning situations. He doesn't play big anymore. The guy was flat out a liability in game 1. How many times do we have to watch him take a shot with 17 seconds on the clock. Ray Felton is twice the player he is at this point. Can anyone name the last time he actually had a worth while assist that actually got someone an easy bucket. Carter plays great defense and can run the offense. I have no problem with him. He will make the open three, sink a floater and provide a steady 20 minutes tonight. TD has played very well as a starter and was playing some improved point when Billups went down. I don't think it's as big of a loss as everyone is making it out to be. As long as he doesn't overplay Rondo I think we can win that matchup this event. |

![]() Billups makes better passes, but he chucks 3s too and plays much worse defense than TD. I can't see how this can help or hurt our team to be honest. Billups was putting up the stats, but his defense stinks.
Tony Douglas hit a couple of clutch 3s as well just remember. “Whenever I’m about to do something, I think ‘Would an idiot do that?’ and if they would, I do NOT do that thing.”- Dwight Schrute

![]() I wish TD would just trust that he can turn the corner and explode to paint area.

If he has both the strength and athleticism to guard any point guard he wants as well as SOME shooting guards, then he can take the ball to the rim whenever he wants. It's the same deal with Gallo though and what you said: He needs that confidence. “Whenever I’m about to do something, I think ‘Would an idiot do that?’ and if they would, I do NOT do that thing.”- Dwight Schrute

![]() I wish TD would actually look for STAT on the PnR and not just ignore him play after play! But yeah he does need to drive more. I'd love to seem him drive and kick with his quickness he would be able to create so much more for his teammates. At the very least I hope he has a great shooting night.

![]() I need him to get fields involve..cause billups doesn't, and he needs to run more..I sure miss feltons end to end court action..I used to love when he would turn a possesion into a one man fastbreak after a opponent bucket....were really need to up the tempo.

Yeah I have to admit that losing Felton was a bigger loss than I thought. I really thought CB would be a smarter PG for us and didn't know he was going to be such a chucker and so useless in the PnR. Most of all I miss the speed of Felton and his grit. Not that I wanted them to trade Felton cuz I didn't, but I thought it could actually be a good thing having CB instead. I was wrong on that one. STAT has suffered the most from his absence IMO. What's the point of having one of the best finishers in the NBA and having him turn into a jumpshooter cuz none of our PG's can get him the ball rolling to the basket? |

![]() I think Toney could help spread the floor a little better than Billups did in Game 1.
Also, how weird is it that Shawne Williams only played 9 minutes? From what I saw, he looked really good and he canned a huge 3. Dude started a bunch this year and played a lot of important minutes for this team. Anyone else surprised that he only played 9 minutes in game 1? I guess it was because Stat and Melo played more minutes and Turiaf was playing well at center. Toney on Rondo, Landry on Rayray. Melo on Pierce. Stat on KG. Turiaf on JO. Let's do this! ¿ △ ?
