Our young guards arent taking us anywhere.

Im just trying to look at teams going nowhere that have pieces we could use to fill our holes.

Gortat(C) and Childress(SG/SF) for Billups works salary wise too.

Childress has been horrific for Phoenix and he is owed 28 million over the next 4 yrs. Now while he is overpaid he isnt that bad. He is a very good all around player with a bad jumper.

Gortat would be our starting C.

We then use the MLE for a PG.

Gortat
Amare
Melo
Childress

I would look to trade him or buy him out. Dude is shot and always going to be injured.

I don't think this is right.

I think it's 5 days past Knicks end of season, not NBA Finals.

Best Knicks can do is buy him out.

That's what i recall.
