Melo is the greatest knick player ever?

More clutch?

Legends are born when it matters most. LJ's 4 pt play, Reggies 8 pts, H20's 1999 shot, and many plays that define a season.

Lets not worship him quite yet. Enjoy it though, no body taking that away from anyone.

Kudos to Dolan, Starphuching really does work.

Seriously, who is worshiping him?

So you came here to say Knick fans shouldn't be happy until he does something legendary? Something that will rank as one of the greatest plays in Knick history along with the likes of the 4 point play?

Knick fans will always find a reason to not celebrate. Even when we have locked up an over .500 record for the first time in over 10 years.

This is all just premature no?

Melo has looked great, most importantly on both sides of the ball. He's played like a star during this stretch.

As for most clutch? Lets wait for a couple weeks no? Who cares if the Celtics sweep us Pierce hits the big shots and Melo doesnt.

That being said I dont think even the most outspoke against the Melo trade would deny his great ability to score in crunch time... he's always done that. The question has been the effort between tip off and crunch time. Thats always been the problem with this guy. He's been looking great. This is what we all hoped for when that trade went down. I hope it carries into next weekend!

Melo has hit a few clutch shots. Is this the most clutch knick in 15 years? Since 1996?

Ok, yeah, sorry, its freaking epic. The morning after.

I didn't start a whole new thread on this. Im not NOT celebrating.

Melo hits a great shot! Raise fist in the air, them pop a bluRay in and watch a movie.

Im not raising his number to the rafters yet.

BUt since he asked, Allan Houstan shot in the 99 playoffs was the most clutch knick in the last 15 years.

This team is not even completely built yet! And yes, we are gonna get wrecked by the Celtics. We might win a game if Amare and Melo both get hot but thats about all I am expecting from this season.

Because there is some confusion let me put it this way: In the last 15 years, has any Knick player had a higher FG% in the last 10 seconds of games where we were down by 2 points? Is there anyway to look up that stat?

Melo is giving Amar'e a run for his money for the "Best Knick since Ewing" award.

Melo is the best Knicks since Ewing. I love what STAT has done for the Knicks but Melo is a better player.

Melo is a better rebounder for his size, and is more clutch.

And is a better defender and is a better scorer. Melo is unstoppable, Amare is stoppable.

I know he's not known for his defense, but since he came to NY, he's had more of an impact defensively than Amar'e has. And that says a lot, considering Stoudemire is 6'10".
