Great story Sage. You're right, different time. I miss the old "Bullets" although I understand why they changed their name.

i like knicks i was 12 years old and was shooting hoops for first time with some friends, and i saw i was naturally inclined to be baller, what what, so someone ask me, hey man, what is your favorite team? i say, randomly, it is knicks, because i hear of knicks earlier on tv or something, this was in 90s, and i had a television then with the antenna funny because in poverty, but then i was shooting the buckets, and ever since i stick.

patrick ewing favorite player because he will do that good post shot

Feel like we done this b4

But here we go again.....

Started in boarding school upstate ..... Went to FT shooting competition for kids in Newburgh NY

after the contest we all went to Burger King and in front of us was a huge Basketball team

The Georgetown Hoyas......

Patrick Ewing and the bunch....Laughing making jokes!! Talking to all of Burger King.... Was coolest experience in my life at time!

They were mobbed and loved!!..... Became a Georgetown fan instantly!!

Went to Ft Hamilton in Brooklyn a few years later Ewing was still in college.

Shooting hoops one day freshman year I meet a guy named Bernard King..... Just visiting his roots and spending time with
Us Ft kids

Shooting lights out btw

So easy to be a Knick fan after that but my love only grew

Went to 4th of July Parade with my brother we worked a hot dog cart by the towers that day....

Bernard King and his wife in a float reconizes me and says hello and his wife gives me a kiss on cheek.

Never looked back since!!!

KNICKS on the way UP!!!
