Nixluva may seem obvious, but actually Nix was the name of my dog, an Airedale Terrier, that I bought to fill the emotional hole after my wife and I lost our 1st child back in 1988. I loved that dog and he did help to ease some of the pain. I spent hours training him and he was so obedient. I could instruct him to stay in the middle of Jamaica Park full of kids and walk out of the park, out of his sight and he wouldn't budge until I came back and gave him the command. Great dog. He did more for us than we did for him, tho he never knew it.

This needs to be proven/verified at the next UK Pick-Up Basketball game or else your username will be revoked

I haven't played an actual game in over 7 years. These days my basketball prowess is limited to the PS3 and shooting Nerf hoops with my son. I went to the park last summer with my brother just to shoot for a few hours. The next day I could barely walk up the steps to catch the train. Getting old sucks.......

I was born and raised way Uptown (In the Bronx) by the last stop on the 5 train. I reside in the south now so I use Uptown to stay in touch with my northern roots.

Thanx Bruh! We were blessed to eventually have 3 children and they're all bigtime Knick fans like Dad! I'm looking forward to enjoying the 1st Knick playoff series with my sons this year. They've never known a good Knick team so this is special.

Mine is just a "Knickname" from some friends growing up. It was a substitute for "man" or "dude", as in when saying something like "what's up man?". Not sure how it came up, just mofos started saying it.

Guess I should have thought of something related to the Knicks, which would most certainly have involved John Starks (one of my all time faves). If I could change it without losing my post count, I probably would. Is that do-able Martin? Maybe something like "StarksOverMJ".

Cause I love music and bball...

From wikipedia:

"Gustav Mahler (German pronunciation: [ˈɡʊstaf ˈmaːlɐ]; 7 July 1860 – 18 May 1911) was a late-Romantic Austrian-Bohemian composer and one of the leading conductors of his generation. As a composer, he acted as a bridge between the 19th century Austro-German tradition and the modernism of the early 20th century. While in his lifetime his status as a conductor was established beyond question, his own music gained wide popularity only after periods of relative neglect which included a ban on its performance in much of Europe during the Nazi era. After 1945 the music was discovered and championed by a new generation of listeners; Mahler then became one of the most frequently performed and recorded of all composers, a position he has sustained into the 21st century."

I thought going to work today was an good idea, then I actually got there. Mensa sucks, I think they ran out of genius types and took their recruiting mainstream.

From the old TV show.

55 is year of birth.

I don't live in San Fran, although I do own an antique railroad telegraph sender/receiver... which would have been used to "wire" people at some point in history.

Now that's a letdown, I thought you were one of the 12.
