I was thinking the sane thing, like wtf. Hey Knicks1248, you can't disparage a knick great HOFer like that.
I'm gonna need you to sit the next couple of plays out.

Probably a combination of minor nagging injuries and fatigue from the long season. As long as he doesn't look gimpy Im fine.

Guarding centers will do that to you. This is why Bosh doesnt like playing center.

Instead of shutting him down completely, they should limit him to 15 mins when melo is off the court. If he can play we need him out there to lead the d-leaguers when melo's sitting.

Umm he is doing about 15 now ..due to fouls. The real issue is he doesn't know how to play defense without fouling.

1 rebound? d'Lee could do better than that. I hope these guys got more oomph than I've seen yet. Anyone think we look like the New York Nuggets?

Ok i was off a little bit.......but i still don't think amare is that horrible of a rebounder 8/9pg a game for a PF is about avg (maybe even a little above) considering he'e avg 26ppg and 2 blocks and a heck of and offensive player.
Besides, we already broke down amare's and melo's game way before they got here, I can't see anything that they do as a surprise or alarming base on what we knew.

You may look at Amare like he's struggling (which he is a little) but this guy never played with such a scorer like melo, and I clearly see him thinking more then reacting. He reminds me of Gasol when he first started playing with KOBE.

Once they figure it out (especially billups) they will be a problem for anyone..

The primary goal should be for him to be health for the playoffs. It doesn't matter if they fall down to the 8th seed because they rested him. Having Amare play at 50% in the playoffs would be worse.

the magic number evidently is 3 right now. I'd sit him out against Cleveland, and maybe the rest of the year. Chances are we're in the play offs.

Better part of being 8 is our draft position improves- and this might be the last draft pick we can add in a LONG Time.

Play him 20 min in the last game of the year. Sit him until then.

Ere you guys kidding me...you act like this team has been together for years instead of the 4wks they actuaally have..I would cut his mins back once we clinch..but sitting him all together on a chemistry challenge team is quite dumb. You think things are gonna just click once the playoffs start..wow

I'd take that gamble over the idea that we'll win if he gets 1 rebound per game.
