Buy a late first rounder or early 2nd rounder and draft Ben Hansborough.

Kemba and Knight will not be available when we pick. Our best shot will be Fredette (maybe), but do you really want him at the top of our defense?

No, he isn' fast enough either. Nolan Smith will be available. Is he good enough, I don't know?

Kemba is pretty much a lock to go top 10 at this point.

Smith is a smart player, can run an offense but isn't a playmaker and lacks some explosion from what I've seen. One guy who is intriguing to me is Darius Morris from Michigan. He has good size 6'4 and very quick. He still needs to learn to play the point full time, but he has tremndous potential.

We need a VETERAN PG or at least a solid 3rd year PG.

If Milwaukee somehow managed to get the number 1 draft pick I'd take the HORRIBLE contracts of Gooden and Salmons off their hands for Brandon Jennings. I dont think Milwaukee is that stupid though.

Anyone up for revisiting a Ricky Rubio trade? How about our first round pick and Douglas on draft night for Rubio?

A big can be acquird in the draft or maybe they can sign either Jordan or Dalembert. Things are hard to figure out without knowing what the cap is going to be.

We need a PG who can facilitate. Brooks is a scoring PG which is why he was traded.

Instead of trying to find someone to try to imitate Steve Nash maybe it is time to find someone different to coach the team. Trying to fit guys into roles that don't match their game and talent is not working.

Not trying to imitate Steve Nash. We need a guy who can get guys easy shot and make passes that lead to baskets.

Andre Miller would nice at this point.

Ricky would fit the bill... Not that we have a shot at him. But he is certainly a playmaker first and foremost.

I would love to snag Walker, but it's doubtful he will be available when we pick.

We don't to groom a rookie point guard, this team needs vets.

There are some good solid freshman and sophmore PGs, that could blossom into starters in the draft. I think we should scout for the best PG available at our pick, draft him, and then resign Billups for one more year. We can then either see what we got with the young PG (is he good enough to start after a season of training) and go for a center (Howard), or go for Chris Paul or Deron Williams.

Stop dreaming Howard ain't coming here. The team he plays with now is just as good as our team.

How about Eric Maynor? Seems like a solid all around PG who is on his rookie contract and could be had at a reasonable cost.

Knicks don't have anything to give up even for reasonable cost.

I think you give Chauncey a long look before you make a decision on a guy with a resume like his. Finals mvps play in San Antonio, LA, Miami and NY.

We need Chuancey around to have that conversation with younger players that the coaching staff seems unable to come across with. He has next year, lets use that wisdom/experience wisely.

There are too many guys with no J and spotty defense that can be groomed into the pass first PG. Let's not be so hasty in giving away the few assets we have.

KNicks have a 13million expiring and a 1st round pick on draft night to trade.
