Billups have been culprit number one on both Defense and offense. He can't say that the offense is too hard and the defense is too complicated, when the most basic thing is to stay in front of your man and he can't do that. We all watch the games and it's not about a defensive philosophy. It's simple! Amar'e is a horrid defender both on his man and in terms of being aware of what's going on around him. He makes about 2 good help defensive plays a night and blows all the rest. Billups is a sieve on D and it kills us as Jennings, DJ Augustin and every other PG just blows right by Billups. Melo is working hard on D, but he and STAT aren't always working as hard or as smart as they should. It's the top 3 players who are the main culprits for why the defense stinks!!! So why should Billups get to talk as if he's shutting his man down, but everyone else is messin up? Not only is he killin us on D, but on the offensive end too.
Chauncey should be in the video room studying tape of Nash and Felton to figure out what to do.
Yeah because Billups is the only guilty party here of not playing solid defense....
I saw Kwame Brown make Stat look inferior
I saw Delfino eat Melo alive
I saw Smardo Samuels and Tyler Hansbrough go ape
I saw Dahntay Jones roll shake rattle Melo
I saw Tony Allen look like a mutant against Melo
I saw Chris Wilcox make plays when it mattered stifling Amar'e late
But this is cute watching you lash 40 strokes less 1 against Billups on a regular basis. The FNG. I actually think you have valid points too. Too bad you come off as a Hypocrite here though.
