That guy is in MInny now because the coach wouldn't play him or work with him. Until D'Antoni is gone it is almost useless to bring in anyone over 6'9" unless they are a finesse player that shoots the three.

but when he played he didnt play well. there are reports about lack of focus. his body language was always depressing.

i argue though that maybe he wasnt a throw-in in this trade, maybe he was a necessary component. to get minny to take curry's contract we had to give up an asset.

I was surprised with how poorly he played on the court at times. However, I think he could have benefitted from some of the treatment Moz got where he was an assistants pet player. I also think D'Antoni decided in Milan that he had no room for him on his team and was very obvious in his expression of displeasure every time the kid made a mistake during his brief appearances on the court, 17 games total. Randolph is very young, was coming off an injury, is 6'11" and possesses a ton of talent. He had already produced at the NBA level. He needed to not be the guy the coach always yelled at, he needed to be the guy the coach worked with.

NY is high pressure and Randolph needs no pressure. Look it up. I said he would blow up -if you consider this blowing up- in Jinny. I wouldn't expect many wins though.

The only one that may hurt is Moz

This is true, Anthony Randolph can be a great player on a losing team with no pressure and zero expectations, and compared to Darko and Hill that's saying something!

The only reason the Knicks aren't considered a very bad team is because they are in the eastern conference.

Except if their name is Mozgov, Turiaf, or Jefferies. Or Amare. Or Kurt Thomas.

Moz had 20 dnps coaches decision and the only reason he had a rebirth of sorts was because the coach had to play him and he had a great game. Turiaf is broke down and the Knicks are at the mercy of his orthotic. I don't know what to say about Jeffries except that I don't think I would use him to make a point about anything other than the coach is stubborn. I am not sure why Kurt is here unless your point is that the Suns played a 6'9" cener also.

Kevin Love could miss rest of season.

Anthony Randolph gets a ten game audition.

Interesting.

So far in the first half Anthony Randolph has 12 points and 7 rebounds an assist and a blocked shot.

Knicks centers have 2 points and 1 rebound.
