Melo has been coddled and Denver is a far different place than NYC. He's still young and a bit immature but I think he'll figure it out. Luckily he has Amar'e to lean on as far as the media goes. He just needs to buy into the system.
right. He's not buying into the system. Right now Melo is the problem. I agree with all of this, but its more than the media. He oversold himself. He VERY close getting booed at home, I can tell you right now. How's he going to handle that?

I dont think he's a bad guy. He's not Marbury. He can be a monster in the SSOL. He needs to start changing and changing big.

agree with all of what you are saying. and it seems you agree with me that you've been somewhat unimpressed so far with this guy.

i will believe the change when i see it. i also could see this spiralling out of control, with melo getting mad at MDA or not buying in, the knicks get rolled, then walsh leaves and the team is rudderless. i shudder to think what dolan's next move is. maybe he'll hire isiah to coach and layden to be GM again?

The media oversold him. Melo never ever said he was here to rescue the Knicks. He'll buy in, STAT will handle it.
