Take the pulse of the UK nation.

We are united in affection toward our team but the trade has changed the roster and perhaps the fans view.

Uk'ers are fans. so we need not justify our existance but perhaps attidude has changed.

Since the trade are you........

Passion is higher for the team! Im watching it more than before the trade!
Passion is about the same! Still watching most games.
Passion is lower, Im not watching as many games.
Passion is neutral for now. Just not watching really. Don't love the roster change.

Is there no other site you can post anti Knicks? I love it here and don't want to leave, but it's getting there...

The topic of the thread asked a question. Not everyone is going to answer with the same opinion. If there is a forum where people root for a team but don't point out the mistakes or get frustrated with how players play at times or how coaches coach please post a link to it. The drama that I have seen here lately has been more about guys saying they were not going to post here anymore because they didn't like someone else's take on the team.

Different opinions is a good thing. I think what bothers some is the over the top negativity, the lack of recognition for what this franchise has done to try and build a winner and the relative impatience with the process. We all seemed to understand that there would be a period of adjustment and that there wasn't a lot of time left to get things in line. SOme of the comments haven't been objective observations, but doom and gloom all is lost type posts. That can be a bit much.

Speaking for myself, some of my posts are based on reactive emotion. I think that is a part of sports.

All posters here are fans. Hating trolls usually find us boring.

I think its a question worth asking.

Loving your team and being agreeable to all it does does not define loyalty.

Those that have moved on have done so.

I don't understand this less passion thing. I watched all last year, the year before that, the year before that...... You get the idea. I will admit that I don't watch losses on encore, but that's me. I don't know, but for me, there is no other team.

I remember a long time ago before cable and having to listen to Knick games on the radio and catch some games on PIX or WOR. I just have been a diehard fan for so many years I don't know what it's like to not support the team and be into a season. That's why this season has been so important. It's the beginning of a turn around for our franchise. No it's not perfect, but the direction is so positive and full of potential for big things down the line. Fans that won't allow themselves to enjoy this after all we've been thru are depriving themselves of a good experience. Perhaps they'll come around in the playoffs.

Agreed. Been a Knick fan since Rory Sparrow, Eddie Lee Wilkins and Truck Robinson. Serioulsy, if you can survive those times, along with the Layden/Isiah error, how in the world can a fan be turned off after securing two of the top 10-12 players in the league?

I'm watching the same..Knicks fan thick and thin. I'm watching the same amount as when we stunk the last decade. It shouldn't matter who's on the team if you are a fan of the "TEAM". We've had some high moments with Melo on the Team and some low ones but the games have been equally exciting versus pre-trade. People are acting like before the trade some games you didn't leave sick from the lack of defense or inconsistency.

So quick to forget Chandlers disappearing act for a month. Or Gallo sometimes not showing up at all for games. Or Moz rivaling Jefferies on butterfingers iconic status. Or Felton looking terrible for some stretches. I miss those guys too but come on..they were as flawed or maybe even more than our current roster.

And if we are talking about homegrown talent..we still have Toney Douglas.

Feel good stories..Shawne Williams, RMJ & Anthony Carter.

Real Clutchness..Melo, Stat & Billups.

I'm watching less. I liked the team more before the trade. Still hoping for the best but right now they're just not that interesting to me.

I don't watch because I don't like the style of play. Basketball can be a beautiful game if played properly. This is not a fun team to watch. Now the Clippers... that's some entertaining ball!
Rose is not the answer.

So basically you have no patience. No D'Antoni team is going to be a team that doesn't share the ball and play some good team BB. It's only a matter of time before they adjust to what he wants them to do. It's not gonna be ugly BB. 25 assists and high FG %. That's not ugly BB.

Sounds to me like you're the primary drama queen so referenced. Differences of opinion should be expected in a fan forum. Nobody has declared the new Knicks a bust. And what's with the attitude of "You're either with me or against me?" That's some puerile shyte right there. Dang!

What I really disliked was what Miami did - I thought it was destroying basketball. But they did take cuts in salary to play together. What "ME"lo did just screamed of "me" first. I put it on the back burner and I have to say he has played more team ball. It just seems like we had a real team that was growing and now we have a gutted team when all that had to happen was for "ME"lo to wait till summer. Don't give me the uncertain CBA. You get your millions anyway in NY, he could have taken the chance but now he reaped what he sowed. Thus far a perfect example of you can't have your cake and eat it too. We would have had assets to trade for a very very good center this summer, at the least. And now??? We are gutted and it's going to be hard to bear this period but I'll try. This is NY and the chance you take when you want all those dollars at the expense of a team.

Nalods words pretty much sum it up well, as many have said and feel.

The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift. Albert Einstein
