How would people feel about packaging the #1 pick with Toney to move up? We can't trade the pick before the draft, but we can draft someone for another team and trade the player after he's picked.

Or do we just sit at 17-20 or so and take the best available player? I think at this point, it might be better to have the depth than to try to swing a trade up for a better player.

if Walsh does it I'm cool. Toney Douglas might be better than Fredette, not for nothing. Douglas was defensive player of the year and one of NCAAs leading scorers. JF isnt a PG. Just watch him play.. but Curry's been pretty good there despite the poor defense.

Douglas is a good player and still has upside going into year 3. Its all depends depends depends

He'd be okay on offense, but he's the single worst defender on BYU. All of their conference opponents attack Jimmer when on offense. He's terrible at defense. I'd be upset if that were the pick

how much of that is staying out of foul trouble as he's the leading scorer on the planet? Much like teams used to attack Amare (quite successfully). It seems like the few crunch times I have seen him he's a decent defender. During the meat of the game he stays away from contact.. thats for sure.

Thats not really me defending him, more an observation.

This would be a GREAT pick for the Knicks because Fredette can play right away and the Knicks need that. I like (for this team) Chris Singleton, Kenneth Faried, Keith Benson and Fredette for sure. I think Fredette could be a great role player spreading the floor for the bigger guns. The other guys I mentioned look like good defensive lunch pale type players

I dunno if Grainger scores over Chris. I never heard of anyone have a triple double with steals instead of assists.

To think he could fall as far as the Knicks assuming he comes out I don't see it ..not after the combine... and he will add more muscle in the pro's. His natural position is a 3 If he can get a better handle he might play spot minutes at the 4 or even 2 I do see NY drafting a SF That's 'dlroW orraziB '

I love Kemba--if the Knicks can get kemba--all forgiveness for this move will be extended:) Uconn was an absolute great show all year and it would be special if they could drive to the final 4. With kemba on the team---it could easily happen.

But if we did draft him, no worries! Mike 'Antoni would teach him to play D.

man the fredettes should be saying, "nooooo!!!! anywhere but there!!!!"

Have to admit that I thought the same thing.
