Outside of the obvious stars, i would like to see us get Andersen Varejao. He's the perfect center for this team.

I hope you know that Alcindor and Kareem are the same person.

Really????!!! Hahaha! No way! You must be pulling my leg. You don't know what you are talking about they are both in the HOF!

Now your gonna tell me that Cassius Clay and Ali were the same person. Stop it!

Then you are gonna really be mean and say that Chris Jackson and Mahmoud Abdul Raouf were all-in-one.

Barak Obama and Ronald Reagan. The same too right?

Don't mess with the slow and challenged. Its un-becoming.

so here is what phil is thinking ....

I'm torn between Kobe Bryant and Blake Griffin. Herb could suit up at center and the KNicks would win the championship with Kobe this year. But a decade+ of Blake is appealing. I know Howard or Kevin Love is a significantly better fit. But screw it.

Anthony and Billups left practice yesterday without taking to the media

Add a player who cares less about the daily scrutiny in the media. The badgering and the annual trade rumors before the February deadline. The "un-named sources and the plot twists that make the Knicks the best soap opera in the NBA. Add a no-nonsense player with the hide of a rhino, the poker face of Clyde and the double double output of Kevin Love.

Yeah, Kevin Love, that's the ticket!

no one else says pau. hmmmm.

legit 7-feet.

very active, gives you skills at every facet of the center game. shooting %, assists, boards, blocked shots.

very team-oriented.

much more physical than gets credit for.

a winner. at the pro level. at the international level. whether he's asked to carry a team or fit in with a team.

Marv, Marv. I expected better from you. You really want to add that flopping softness to this team.
We need tough, we need hard. We need a center. We don't need that flail and spin around till you get fouled soft ass cave man.

Gimme Howard or Griffin.

Add Bargnani, and that may be DJ's dream team.

Bill Simmons on Tyreke Evans "The prototypical 0-guard: Someone who handles the ball all the time, looks for his own shot, gets to the rim at will and operates best if his teammates spread the floor to watch him."

Eating a fried cricket is almost as crazy as trading away your only center.
