He is more confident and competent with the ball than Douglas.

I think Douglas needs to improve his overall decision making for him to take the next step.

He already has improved his shot making ability.

He's never going to be a true PG.

QFT. Douglas is a good catch & shoot guy and can play really well off guys who dominate the ball as long as they look to kick to the perimeter, but he can't be relied upon to be a ballhandler and run teh offense. DWTDD is still an asset, though.

If he can be less strong, faster version of Derek Fisher, I'm happy

he's 1 of the best closers in the NBA but you'll never hear the detractors give much more than a cursory mention of that major aspect of his game... they'd rather compare him to undisciplined chuckers like Gilbert Arenas & pat themselves on the back like they just said something intelligent.

He didn't go head down like a bull in a china cabinet. He took his patented hard jab dribble mid range pull up. The biggest difference isn't Melo's ability to make and convert clutch plays it's his facilitation in the offense. He's somewhat evolving, at least I hope he is.

Jeffries = the missing piece

You have a unique polarizing approach.

Knicks won.

the guys singing the Dynastic Vessel's praises and claiming he's such an amazing pick up also said the Melo deal was trash

It's hard for people who think Gallinari has star potential to praise what Carmelo Anthony already is, a proven star player.

Some people are more in love with what could be as opposed to what already is....

yup... they fall in love with the thrill of the chase better than the actual catch... eventually they'll just grow bitter over never having the love of their life to settle down with.

which makes PMS right :) the greatest feeling in the WORLD hehehe

Melo HAS to make those shots. We had guys who can fill out the stat sheet. What we traded 4 starters for was a guy who wins games. Big shot for Melo. He needed that. Good stuff

LeBron's reaction to the gamewinner isn't the kind of reaction a coldblooded killer has after just hitting the gamewinner.

This is how you react

He certainly has it. It would have been nice if the Knicks just kept their lead though.

We're gonna all cry when he does that in the playoffs. Hope it isn't fatal

4 starters??? Don't let the facts get in the way of your arguement. It really was 2 starters for 2 starters. Chandler was coming off our bench and Mosgov started like 5 games after the season first 5 games. How many DNPs did he have. I liked those guys but be real. Also Billups was part of the trade BTW.

fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate

With Douglas, we always look at his defense and the shots that he's taking. Lately, they've been dropping, and his defense is always withering. Now as for 10 assists, I'll be damned! The best 3 million the Knicks have ever spent.

yeah. it really came down for me to how far did i think that team had the potential to go? my answer was it was a slightly better than .500 team. i didn’t want to wait around 3 years to see if i was right.
