Amare was in the groove and Carmelo must been feeling it because he makes it look easy.

He's on top of his game and he's really coming into his own as he let's the game come to him.

those 2 were like a godsend last night. enjoy it when it's working!

They were filthy, disgusting good. I would love to find room for a guy like Mehmet Okur next season as a stopgap. Just clear out for those two on offense and get ready to make it rain from deep

funny the perfect center would have been bill the thug laimbeer. guy was money from outside, and nasty on defense and rebounding.

Jefferson's been averaging close to 30ppg lately. Without Williams, he's their go to guy.

Al Jefferson is the best post player in the NBA. I'd prefer Love to him though, because I would like the middle clear for our stud forwards to crash, as well his amazing outlet pass to start the break, and his great three point shot, plus the fact that he's the best rebounder in the league.

Al Jefferson is a monster on offense and a non-entity on defense. Take last night for example. Or any recent Jazz game. He makes almost no impact on defense, despite all the rebounds. Very good offensive player though. Kind of like a larger Zach Randolph aka a points and rebounds machine.

I've said it before- you take a big chance on D with a front line of Love, Amare, and Melo...plus you have Amare playing at a position we told him he would not be starting at.

I'd rather have an Oakley type player than Love, and put him in at 5. Not a shot blocker, but tough for most 5's to move him around.

Spacing was better, ball movement was better. It wasn't one big cluster****. Sometimes beating a lesser team helps a squad get their act together. I agree that its just one game. No tears of joy for this one.

I kind of thought that - but Wilson is a lot smoother with the ball and a lot more aggressive/effective defensively. Brown might be able to get there, but he'd have to do a lot of work.

I'm right there with you don't think he's a carbon copy...but then again...did anyone think Chandler or walker could shoot before they played for MDA?

Interesting.

Derrick Brown is a player The Answer Man could take another gamble on.

He has produced on the NBA level. Hope he sees enough minutes to make the formation of an exploratory campaign committee a prudent choice.

I hated Laimbeer. He used to torment Ewing. But you are right that he would be perfect running mate for Amare and Melo.

When asked about the approaching April deadline on his contract, Donnie Walsh responded, “None of your damn business.”

This is a huge concern. Walsh has always been very forthcoming.

I guess this is more of the Glass half Empty type of threads...

I am still grinning from the total smack down we put on the Jazz.
There has not been a better time for us Knicks fans since the 99 run almost 12 years ago...

He's more tired of this than anyone else. After hearing that question a couple of hundred times, most of us would say the same thing. I know I would.
