Melo is a superior player to Gallinarri. Please find me one person who is not a delusional homer would disagree with that.

Chauncy Billups is better than Raymond Felton. Mosgov was NOT our starting center for very long was he? As a matter of fact I KNOW Sheldon Williams is better than him.

2 years of drafts picks? Some second rounders and a first rounder? Right. Because we would have drafted starters on the All Star Team with our great 38th pick from GS this year and our 22nd pick next year.

Melo is ten times the player Eli is. Eli was lucky to be on a such a great team. He is a sort of above average player. Not a top TEN player like Carmelo Anthony.

OK. I have been pretty civil with all this back and forth with Melo and the players traded away for him but going after Eli is going to really piss me off. Dude, until Melo wins us a championship, please do not degrade what Eli has done for the Giants.

Well said.

Hate this bowing down to guys that haven't done anything.

I like Amare for all he did to restore the name to this franchise but he still does not play defense and rebound for his position. The honeymoon with both he and Carmelo will be over by next year and these guys are going to have to step up and play defense or start feeling the wrath of the Knicks fans and the New York media. Then we'll see how they can handle the pressure.

I guess Eli was equally lucky to flat out play 1)Romo 2)Farve 3) Brady
Lucky had nothing to do with it. Not to mention he was the SB MVP and engineered one of the most historic drives in football history. Sure "the catch" was great but equally impressive was hitting Smith on 3rd and 10 for a big gain, Boss down the seam, Toomer dragging his feet on the sideline... all perfect throws in the biggest game in ALL of sports.
As a matter of fact I KNOW Sheldon Williams is better than him.
Sledon better than Mosgov? Right... good one. By the way IO KNOW your wrong. I guess putting it in caps makes it right.

You can say this was a trade Knicks had to make, but it was not a great trade, and we got VERY OLD ver fast. When the Knicks fail to sign CP3 or Deron ask me in 2 years whos better... Felton or Billups.

Not gonna argue about Eli. I think Eli is a good Quarterback, but I think the Giants built a great team around him. The O-Line that year was SICK and one of the best I have ever seen. Eli took advantage of his situation, but it's two different sports.

How is Mosgov better than Williams? What about Mosgov's game made him better? Mosgov wasn't even a starter on this team. He wasn't even playing 3 weeks before the trade. How is a player who loses his starting job, has ONE double double game in the entire season, better than Shelden Williams, who was putting up better numbers for Denver? Because you think he is better? Mosgov is just a stiff 7 footer who will be lucky to average 10 minutes a game in the NBA.

Oh and we got OLDER? So we shouldn't trade for an All Star Starter and a former Finals MVP, because we are going to get OLDER? It's that sort of insanity that just drives me nuts. That's insane to me. Don't get better because we will get older. Yes, how dare we trade for a 4 time all star who is 27, when we can keep a role player who has had a series of nights where he scores under 10 points, but but but he is younger! And Chandler, who was such an all star, we should have kept him because he is 3 years younger.

Forest for the trees, I mean really.
