List is nothing special but I wouldnt mind stealing Davis and Krstic from the Celtics. Jeff Green is going to get paid this summer so I doubt they have the extra cash.

Armstrong is currently on his fifth team and hasn't done anything on any of them. Nazr is nearing the end of his career and will probably sign on with a contender to get another ring. Krstic doesn't rebound and doesn't defend. I can't imagine Boston not resigning Davis. Pryzbilla would be perfect; a big man who rebounds and blocks shots who's content playing 20mpg. But, are the Knicks willing to shell out a multi-year deal or is 2012 cap space more important.

I think Davis is a goner. You dont trade Kendrick Perkins for Jeff Green for financial reasons and then resign Davis.

Jeff Green is going to be more expensive to resign than Perkin would have been. Plus they still need a center unless they believe Shaw has more left in the tank.

But weren't the financial reasons that Boston couldn't offer him more money due to some quirk in the CBA? That's what I remember reading, Boston had already offered him the maximum contract they could under league rules and he had turned it down. So instead of losing him for nothing in the off-season they traded him to OKC for Green.

They couldn't extend him for more than like 22 million. They had his bird rights and could have signed him to the max this summer. Boston is going to have to match any offer for Jeff Green too.

Assuming that there are Bird rights with the new CBA.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

Nazr Mohammed is a decent option. Good rebounder and solid defender with reasonable amount of athletic ability and touch around the basket. He's older, but still is solid all around. Between him and JJ, we should be okay for now. Also, JuJuan Johnson or Markieff Morris are good options as draft picks. They are more of PFs, but can definitely play center.

Trade for Anderson Varejao. Maybe Cleveland will be looking to dump his contract. I believe that he signed July 2009 at 6 years 50 million.

He would be the perfect fit in this system. Also, we don't need to spend the Max on a PG like Paul. A center, a shooter and more depth is what we need to get to the next level.

so here is what phil is thinking ....

I'm on board with that move.

I like this idea. I wonder if we can trade Turiaf and our 2011 pick at the draft... we'd probably need to add one other guy to that.

the cryptic capologizers would need to figure out how to match his 9 mil per. Would probably need a third team.

Hmm, that sounds good. I am not sure if anyone in the league atm has all of the above tho. Dunkan or Gasol maybe?
