Armstrong is currently on his fifth team and hasn't done anything on any of them. Nazr is nearing the end of his career and will probably sign on with a contender to get another ring. Krstic doesn't rebound and doesn't defend. I can't imagine Boston not resigning Davis. Pryzbilla would be perfect; a big man who rebounds and blocks shots who's content playing 20mpg. But, are the Knicks willing to shell out a multi-year deal or is 2012 cap space more important.

I think Davis is a goner. You dont trade Kendrick Perkins for Jeff Green for financial reasons and then resign Davis.

Jeff Green is going to be more expensive to resign than Perkin would have been. Plus they still need a center unless they believe Shaw has more left in the tank.

But weren't the financial reasons that Boston couldn't offer him more money due to some quirk in the CBA? That's what I remember reading, Boston had already offered him the maximum contract they could under league rules and he had turned it down. So instead of losing him for nothing in the off-season they traded him to OKC for Green.

They couldn't extend him for more than like 22 million. They had his bird rights and could have signed him to the max this summer. Boston is going to have to match any offer for Jeff Green too.

He would be the perfect fit in this system. Also, we don't need to spend the Max on a PG like Paul. A center, a shooter and more depth is what we need to get to the next level.

I like this idea. I wonder if we can trade Turiaf and our 2011 pick at the draft... we'd probably need to add one other guy to that.

Hmm, that sounds good. I am not sure if anyone in the league atm has all of the above tho. Dunkan or Gasol maybe?
