yes, walsh went after him, but he was only interested in signing with a contender.

i think troy murphy is being completely overrated by a lot of people. i doubt he cracks the rotation in boston. i saw him in new jersey this season and he looked HORRENDOUS. out of shape.

He will probably get plenty of minutes because he is a solid PF. Murphy's problem is he plays no defense and is always injured.

I didnt want us to get him because I dont see the need for him since he plays no defense. Melo and Amare can get your 20 rebounds if they want in the playoffs.

was watching some of his highlights on espn this morning....every dunk was a wide open look...dude is about as slow as slow is...and he plays no defense...easy to see why there was no mutual interest there....and heat/celts will have cap room next season if he can stick...we won't

What makes you assume the Knicks didn't have interest. Maybe he just choose Boston?

read yesterday that the knicks didn't ever call his agent....that's what makes me think there was no interest...ok?

Its just for the rest of the season. Dude is just gonna rock the "Dave Cowens" look and see how that works.

Guy was good in his prime. LIves in Jersey and could have stayed home and played with knicks but wants that ring!

Or get out of the house.
