i'm not going to debate whether jrue holliday can shut down derrick rose. last time they played (the 6ers won) rose had 27/9 albeit he didn't shoot well from the field. bulls also didn't have noah.
i like the way philly is playing too. they are a solid group of young players and super athletic.
LOL i just think this thread is 2 months premature. bulls with thibodeau are playing really great D. deng is having his best year. rose is on another level (did you catch the TNT game last week v. heat, dude was unstoppable). the noah/boozer pairing may be the toughest frontcourt in the east.
anubis, the flip side of your argument is --- if amare or melo get in foul trouble, the knicks are toast.
Your post is very fair. I think Chicago and New York would be looking at a game 7 if they met in the first round.
Chicago's advantages are that they're a much better defensive team, and have the potential MVP.
New York's advantages are that they're a much better offensive team, and have more star power.
