I'm fine with this. Jeffries knows the offense, and we don't need more guys who haven't played MDA ball before. He isn't a wild card, he's phuckin Fishlips! We all know Fishlips. I'm fine with signing him for the remainder of the season.

And as Finestr suggested on other threads, there are definitely better choices with better upside from the NBDL + Free agency, but atm Fishlips isn't going to make as many mistakes as someone new, young and unfamiliar with the NBA, SSOL and NYK BBALL.

But for Brewer? Not that he was untouchable, but couldn't we have waited to maybe get something for him after the season? Was he that bad in practice?

Hope he is thinking of ways to apologize (if he hasnt already)...

I think he will be a good addition. His defensive presence and team 1st attitude is a step in the right direction.

Had enough Melo?

Jeffries for eight minutes in the first quarter.

Shawne Williams as sixth man.

It's not who starts but who finishes.

No.

Knicks had to decide whether or not to extend him his QO, which is not only more than his market worth, but current CBA rules stipulate that you can't trade a player on a 1-year QO deal without his permission.

So in order to hold the rights to trade him, Knicks had to give him more than he's worth AND what's essentially a no trade clause.

Wasn't that Jeffries first regular season game for the Knicks after getting hurt in camp?

I was actually very proud of JJSkinny in that game. He stuck up of for his teammate.
