They really look like Bron/DWade/Bosh in first 10 games.

But this is by design... so will see.

The problem for us is that Amare and Melo don't have the versatility and ability as players to make the adjustments that Wade and James were able to make.

Add to this the fact that they are not the defenders, ball handlers, and distributors that Wade/James are, and they never will be.

Yes.

2 iso players with little playmaking ability are now supposed to become playmakers.

Cmon little playmaking ability? Yeah they aren't point forwards but they create their own shots and do it efficiently

Do they create well for others? All I see Carmelo doing is hold the ball while everyone else stares at him and he takes a shot. I think he has 1 assist in 2 games.

Wade Jordan Pippen LBJ--they could all play de facto PG from their positions. The all played 94 feet and were diverse. Our guys are not like that. Its more of two really good scorers on the same team-but how does that-championship.

We made JJ Hickson look like Alonzo Mourning--if someone has a remedy---please tell me. Oh and we could not guard Sessions we could not guard the jamison(anthony actually looked terrible doing so) and this is a BAD team that Im talking about 26 losses in a row. We were choppy against another bad team at home on a B_B.

I was at the game and Hickson was a beast. He outwilled and out toughed the entire Knicks team. Mourning is a great example because Hickson appeared unstoppable. The trouble is it was JJ Hickson on a team that had won 11 games. Amare looked really bad for most of the game.

So I guess JJ Hicskon doesn't belong in the NBA? Amar'e was JJ's favorite player coming up. He was amped to play against him.

I guess so. He was able to dominate him from start to finish and made the Knicks look like the smallest team in the league.

it took that team until the final week of the season before they looked like they were rolling.

it takes time to mesh the games of stars who play differently. they can figure it out, but it's not going to be automatic that you put Melo/Billups/Amare on the floor they'll win. it's going to look like a lot of isolation play until they start knowing the same plays.

and, damn the hates, jeffries will help - he seals lanes on defense and boxes out (albeit not a great rebounder, but he does box out, dammit, which makes it easier for his teammates to rebound - he's a team player).

Good point on the 99 Knicks, but I have to admit, I doint have a lot of confidence in MDA. I'm afraid he's going to have Jeffries gaurding point guards like he did a few years back. That sh## drove me insane.

He was more effective than Duhon was. He doesn't have to go that far, but having Jared able to roam on D is a very good thing. It's part of the way we can try to improve the D. Deny penetration, give help and recover, play the passing lanes and try to rebound. I would guess that Donnie will look for more than just Jared. I don't think one more big is gonna be enough.
