Billups ran the show better in one game with no practice than Felton after 50 games.

Not comparing the two but that assessment is based on what??...The offense was disjointed at best...Chauncey didn't run one pick and roll with Amare...A slick pass here and there yes but..The offense was basically isolation of Melo...To be more effective, they will have to revert to MDA's offense, and Melo will have to play off the pick and roll...Chauncey isn't there yet...

they both bring different things with their talents. Leadership, bball iq, + 3point shot is definitely Billups.
I think just about everything else, Felton takes excels Billups.

its like saying is physical talents(felton) vs mental n leadership(billups)
They both can do things the other cant. Truth is we, won't ever really know either.
Felton never had a shot to play with this talent b4 we can judge him, its not fair.

Are you kidding? I love Felton but his passing isn't even close to Billups' level, neither is his PnR or court vision. What Felton has on Billups is Speed, youth and hustle.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

He started teaching immediately and I don't think i've ever seen that before in my life. Guy doesn't know the team or plays and come in and corrects mistakes. This is an open and shut case.

Eagerly anticipating watching more of him at work. Billups is a class act and exactly what this team needs. Would have been glad to trade Ray/AR/EC and the picks for Billups and kept Moz, Gallo, Chan lol

One of d'A's criticisms in the past has been that he needed a 'coach on the floor' PG like Nash. He will get the most out of his teammates and is a fine tutor for Douglas and Rautins.

Bill Simmons on Tyreke Evans "The prototypical 0-guard: Someone who handles the ball all the time, looks for his own shot, gets to the rim at will and operates best if his teammates spread the floor to watch him."

Felton is good but Billups is better for at least the remainder of his contract.

Billups was terrible yesterday before the 4th. Sessions was burning him and he just did a horrible job running the team

One thing I thought of when we got Billups is it reminded me a lot of when we got Mark Jackson for the second time. We got a starter who put up good numbers, but he's now older, slower and causing problems in other areas, plus slowing down the offense. I like Billups a lot, but I am concerned with how he's going to perform in the D'Antoni system.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.
