Felton, his agent, and the Nuggets management are meeting to discuss whether or not he will start.

Knicks were the driving force behind the PG swap, not the Nuggets.

Man Coach Chauncy really knows his stuff. He seems like the type to know everyone's weakness in the league. Melo & Billups are gonna come in handy during those close games against our rivals. Can't wait to play Boston just to see the matchups.

Chauncey is my favorite Knick after just one game. You can tell greatness. You can tell character and you can tell winner. That is Chauncey. I am blown away by the guy. He oozes leadership.

I found it a bit strange when karl proclaimed ty lawson the starter with felton having the better year. this might get interesting...

Coach Chauncey? I'm down with that.

Don't forget - he was the Finals MVP in one of the biggest upsets in NBA history.

A few days ago there was a rumor that Denver was going to trade Felton and Moz to the Nets. Obviously that has fallen thru with the Nets getting Deron Williams.

And we deffinitely need a head coach since ours does not know a freakin thing about defense. Billups is gonna make TD into a heck of a player.
so here is what phil is thinking ....

Where are all the clowns that were saying that Felton was better! Let's see if they man up!

FeltonandAmare, there is irony here.

KOT is right.
And you had previously written that you would change your name to BillupsandAmare, IIRC

I think DOnnie is so key in all this. He's made the right decisions on what to bring back. Adding Billups was a stroke of genius. I'm also positive that MDA had a hand in it, cuz he coached Billups a lot on the Olympic team and he knew just how good he is. He doesn't even need to coach CB!!! He has a coach on the floor like he had with Nash and that makes your job so much easier. Any smart coach would want a player like that. IT's like how much coaching do you have to do if Magic is your PG? This was just a great pick up and a key to the trade. I was shocked that some didn't like it.

Just wait til the playoffs and guys that didn't like CB over Felton are gonna be real happy we have him. When the game slows down to halfcourt possessions as they always do, CB will be perfectly suited to run the offense. Oh and MDA's offense works great in halfcourt too, people just don't realize it. If you don't know get the playbook and study it sometime. Tons of stuff in there.

This should be good for TD and I hope he listens. A year and half with CB is like going to college.

This part of the deal was amazing, Billups is such a steady hand. He can drive us deep into the playoffs.

Boo! You were mostly hating. Apologize now so you can enjoy the ride.

Let's go Knicks. That's amare

yeah? well Coach Chauncy does not usually go 1-6 from downtown. Chauncy kicks felton - you cant win in the playoffs with felton because he is not good in the halfcourt sets and Coach C is.
so here is what phil is thinking ....

Watching Chauncy tonight I kept thinking wow this guy looks in real control , there were so many times watching Felton he looked out of control on the court . Chauncy reminds me of when we got Derek Harper in 94 and he helped us get to the finals.

I never really saw much of Chauncy but did see enough of Felton. I was actually better than ok with the Felton Chauncy swap. It is amazing to see a PG with a high IQ out there. Yeah, Felton was all heart and fast as hell, but I take Chauncy over him HANDS DOWN. It's not even close.

We are really a center away from being something. Wish we had Mos. With the doubles the big two here draw, MOS would have had a field day.

Oh, it was nice to see Chanuncy coaching Douglas out there. Douglas needs the help with leading the team. Looks like he is getting healthier for sure. His ball denial is incredible. Really, I don't remember seeing any pg ever do it better, though I'm sure they have. I am content with Douglas as a backup PG, it's the center we need...

Hope there is some kind of trade today and at least an Earl Barron and Ewing Jr signing this week.
