I have a feeling taking Okafor's hefty contract will be part of the Chris Paul pitch in a year or so.

Let's not rush to take him off their hands.

I agree this would be something to wait on before really tying us down with his contract. If we could take back Okafor as part of a CP3 deal? Man, that would be the perfect scenario going forward for this team.

We still need a backup PG b/c Anthony Carter is not the answer. I would not worry about trading. I would go to the Dev. League and pick up Barron and try to find a young pg that we can develop as our longterm backup PG.

I would take Camby over Lopez right now. Lopez has shown that he isn't his brother. Camby would be ideal right now. make it happen Donnie!!

I have a little faith in Donnie in being able to out-smart Isiah.

I'll believe Isiah has beaten Donnie when I see it.

Not like this would ever happen, but DeAndre Jordan would be a good energy player we could use. Other than that I remember OJ Mayo had issues in Memphis, how about Kenny and TD straight up(This also would never happen)

Yeah, sorry. Fields is basically untouchable at this point. We showed we valued him over any of Gallo, Chandler, Felton, Mozgov. If that is the case, there is no way I trade him for Okafor. Sorry. No dice. We simply don't have the assets to improve much via another trade.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Didn't we give Denver the choice between Gallo and Fields? I don't think Landry is off limits just yet.
I love Fields, but if we have a shot at trading for the final member of our own big 3 next year, I'm sure he's out the door.

+1 to that sentiment. Taking on a bad contract like OK4's is what we do to help sway a deal our way for CP3. We don't trade valuable assets like Fields unless we get something back that's more than a shot blocker.

Ding!

+1. OK4 would be nice to help in rebounding but subtract Fields who is the best rebounding guard in the league and the net affect isn't that great. He would be a great help in taking Amare off banging down low with all the 5s in the league.

Don't see how we can take on OK4 and kill whatever slim chance there is of getting CP3 or Deron Williams

LOVE Camby here but I read that he'd retired if Portland trades him.

have to be productive at work now but there's gotta be a Reggie Evans/Chuck Hayes type we have to uncover from DLeagues or International scene...

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please
