He set up the deal, and dolan worked out the players involved..
IT had nothing to with this deal other then telling dolan to make the deal at any cost, walsh and MDA wanted this deal, minus a player or 2..they all agreed that it was risky to wait for FA..
What role was IT to play, the player wanted to come here, he didn't have to convince nobody
Looks like Walsh and Mike distance themselves from the deal.
I think it is smart. The chances of this to became gigantic failure is huge.
Nobody want to keep this kind of things on their resume.
