It just felt like Gallo belonged in New York (sigh)

I agree, but Lee left on his own accord. He wanted to get paid first and foremost (not that there's anything wrong with that). Gallo really wanted to be here.

Good luck Gallo, I'm still rooting for you!

Gallo will be missed way more than Lee. He will also turn out to be a better all around player in his career.

HUGE upgrade, plus they play the same position. the loss of gallo is well justified in this trade imo. to give amear a partner go-to player is going to be huge.

Melo is an upgrade from Gallo no doubt

But Gallo as 6th man would of been great!!

KNICKS on the way UP!!!

Gallo, you will be missed. I really enjoyed watching him develop a little edge to his game. Of course, the little edge to his game is nowhere near the giant edge to Melo's game and that's why we made the trade.

But Gallo is a good kid. I hope he succeeds and I certainly wouldn't mind getting him back.

I could see him winding up on the Clippers one day soon - he'd be the perfect third banana behind Blake and EG.
