Are you completely crazy? Who cares whether Chandler is or isn't part of teh future? He is a valuable trade chip, how can you cretae a trade equation and ignore him when he is being traded????????????

hell Chandler might be a long term piece if no CA--and you know what hes a good piece and probably wont command more than 6mm

But at the end of the day, Mozgov can and should not be the deal-breaker. He has some upside, but is an projected rotation player at best. Also, Sheldon Williams inclusion in the deal will somewhat supplement it. We should wait this thing out, but cannot let Mozgov get in the way of this deal. We are still retaining Fields, who is our best prospect along with Gallo. Just the fact that we are keeping one of the two is great.

Next they will want Fields. Like I said before they do not intend to let Melo come to the Knicks. Now It's time for Melo to man up. If we continue down this path we won't come close to winning a championship.Let's just pick up our cards and go home.

If I'm the Knicks I wouldn't let this be a deal breaker but I would drag it until the deadline.

How many teams are going to be eager to deal with Denver after this whole ordeal?

Get over it! It is not about them! It's about Melo. Why would he allow us to gut our team like this and he is playing dumb and bummer. Let go home forget Melo. and stop connecting Isaih to this deal. It ain't about him. It's about Melo and maybe he don't want to come to New York. Is the 65 million worth playing for the Nets? If it is then take the money and let us be.

You love him! YOU get over it.

These 2 men are running this trade. Of course in your mind Isiah Thomas can do no wrong so he obviously wouldn't be involved.

SOMEBODY CALL THE COPS...DOLAN IS GETTING ROBBED AS WE SPEAK....

Melo can't defend, can't create off the dribble, he doesn't pass, he holds the ball...and he's currently owned by some rookie GM(s), who clearly does not want Melo to go to the Knicks.

Forget the Melo and Stat dream....can we move on and start thinking about D.WILLIAMS / PAUL AND STAT? All you really need are two superstars at the two critical positions on the floor.....A Big with a PG.

If Melo wants to be part of that future, he will take a hit with his funds (like he buddy's in Miami did) and head into FA. Commercials and enforcements will make up the difference in NYC. Thats not the case in Miami....

PLEASE STOP THIS MADNESS ALREADY....DOLAN, PULL UP YOUR PANTS. YOU'RE LOOKING DESPERATE NOW IF YOU EVEN THINK TWICE ABOUT THIS LATEST OFFER!!!!!!!!!!!!

No no no no--thats a deal breaker--its not the one piece its the collective.. walkway dolan and go to FA. f ridiculous now. I was going to back the trade of what was mentioned but this tipped the boat. If someone argues that Mosgov shouldnt be a deal beaker---you havent been in business a long time.
the volume of talented young assets is way too much if we give up Mosgov--its collective not one piece.

The volume of talent does not equal Melo in any way. Let's not overrate what we have here. We have very good young player, but no superstar talents. We have 2 great young chips in Gallo and Fields, we would only be trading 1. If you shop this entire package of players around the league, you won't get a player anywhere near as good as Melo, let alone Billups too, who is a 5-time all-star and finals MVP. Sometimes you have to take chances. I'm willing to chance a superstar for a group of good role players.

Walsh and dantoni need to threaten walking away from their jobs right now to save the franchise. People risk their lives for democracy--these guys can give up money for what is right.

IF this is true it's some real shady crap they're pulling. We don't have enough size to begin with and now it seems like Denver is purposefully trying to hurt the team by stripping us of all our young talent. It was bad enough that they were getting Gallo. Now they're pushing too far. They're trying to make sure we don't have a good team after the trade.

Not to mention, a deal for Melo almost solidifies Paul or Williams in NY.

Yes. Let's stop overrating Carmelo Anthony. He is not Kobe, MJ or even LeBron. He is not on their level. He is not a franchise-changing talent.

And please do not list the awards of 34 year old Billups. He is not the same player. He is fading every year.

"Taking chances" is what got us into a mess we needed 2 years to get ourselves out of.
