Chauncey's value will become apparent once we reach the playoffs... some guys think this guy ain't got it anymore, they're in for an awakening... this guy can still ball & is 1 of the better clutch players in the postseason in the NBA... we don't have to buy this guy out, he'd be the perfect 2012 season stopgap PG while we see what we can do about CP3.

I agree. That kind of experience is very hard to find. I'd trust him more to run the point in the playoffs than Felton.

Yea, that's true. Chauncy still got game for years. I point to Kidd and Nash, in their late 30s, still balling like oxen.

WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

I think Billups as a player is a tremendously underrated asset in this potential trade. We are talking about a 5-time all-star and NBA champion. This is the type of player that playoff teams kill for to help them win it all. Teams like LA or Miami would become instant consensus favorites to win it all with the addition of Billups. A line-up of Billups, Fields or Gallo, Anthony, Stat, and Moz or Turiaf or Barron is a damn good team that could go deep into the playoffs this season. Solidifying the center position and bench over the summer puts this team into contender territory. I don't want to deal both Fields and Gallo, but if we have to deal Gallo or Fields, and Chandler or Mozgov, Felton, Curry, and AR for a 1st round pick for Melo and Billups, i think we have to do it. I'm sure we are still holding out right now, but at the 10th or 11th hour, that deal has to happen. The idea of that team is way too good to pass up.

Close - it's "Mr. Big Shot".

"Big Shot Bob" is the spokesman for "Right Place, Right Time" and has 7 rings.

For me at all costs just keep Gallo

I would say the same, but where's Gallo going to play? 2 guard?

Billups/Gallo/Melo/Amare/Moz or Barron

Gallo's been guarding 2's in spots, but I think that's a lot to ask if teams can game plan for it.

Back to Mr Big Shot. Could you flip him to Detroit for Ben Gordon's remaining three years and Terrico White?

how about Gallo off the bench?

Billups/Fields/Melo/Amare/Moz

Turiaf/Gallo/Barron/Williams/TD

Gallo as go to guy in second unit sounds unstoppable IMHO

I see us playing small ball in 4th either way with a deadly scoring unit of Gallo Melo Amare and Mr Big Shot!!

KNICKS on the way UP!!!

That was Robery Horry's nickname.
