Im thinking Roger gets bought out, AR goes for a pick, or the well talked about 12 for 1 deal where we trade for Melo. Either scenario a spot is likley to open up.

Anybody know what Earl Barron has been doing since getting released by the Suns in late Dec.? Is he playing for a D-League team? or on his own practicing?

if we're doing it to get Melo then hell yes let's get er dun... Earl Barron can do everything Mozgov is currently doing for us as sad as that is to say, his midrange J is much more consistent & he's a better rebounder.

i really loved his rebounding and mid-range last year... this signing is definitely overdo... but i honestly do not remember him being a defensive presence inside like mosgov is at times...

so i can agree 100% with what was said above.... mosgov is bigger and changes more shots inside then baron would...

I love what Turiaf gives and I agree that his impact is more than stats but the fact is that he is always hurt. I want someone who is going to be consistent.

I think they should acquire anyone and everyone that can perform the simple task of grabbing a rebound because he are horrible at it.

Still don't understand why he did not want to hook up with us after a nice audition at the end of the year. I'd also like to see how seriously we looked at him.

Not a savior, but a player who seemed to be a nice fit for this system- especially his rebounding and a suprisingly effective midrange J.

Worth a try, and hopefully we get the guy who finished with us last year and not this year's version.

I told you guys what happened but you guys think I'm playing make believe. What happened was that he turned down a fair offer from a team that gave him a legit shot. Other GMs saw that and were turned off by a guy they thought may think he has already arrived

That's how I felt about it too. Nothing against Barron, but he just overrated his value and IMO wasted a great opportunity to enhance his career. Now he's gotta hope that he can get back the magic he had at the end of last year. I have my doubts considering that we have STAT now and other bigs, but after the trade deadline, who knows what our status will be. It made no sense for him not to have signed with this team and been here the entire season.
