The Miami win was great but the team and coach are producing right where they have been the past two years for the last 24 games and the entire year if you take out the win streak. I think there is cause for concern.
hey... look at it this way. If you take out the 24 losses the Knicks are 25-0Beating the Nuggets, OKC, Bulls 2x, Spurs, Heat... Knicks have their share of quality wins. I said 45 wins and am sticking to it. Knicks are VERY young and finding the line between developement and consistancy is always the big challenge.
If you notice a downward trend your right. Chandler, Amare, Felton all nursing nagging injuries (hmmm your top 3 scorers). Lets get healthy and these wins will start coming in again. Knicks arent good enough to play 600 basketball with key guys playing at 75%
They have lost 9 of their last 12 games. Not sure how to look at that but it is pretty disappointing.
and is there any other reason aside from rebounding for that? We are too small and unskilled bigs that are willing to follow the ball and crash the glass destroy us. Knicks first line of D is ok... the 2nd line is non existant. Walsh has said it... we need an enforcer. IS that coming from within? Trade? Next year?
Also we are not healthy... is losing 9 of 12 a sign that teams have figured us out or does it have to do with Felton (high ankle sprain), Gallo (knee), Chandler (calf), Amare (not practicing, knee), Douglas (shoulder) ALL are playing at well below 100%?
I'm not making excuses... Knicks have not been playing well, but saying that they are just not a good team seems a bit of an oversimplification no?
