The amount of Pick and roll touches for Gallo is slowly increasing. I think the coaching staff is seeing what we are seeing. All part of his development.

Gallo is either Bird Lite or Stiff Legged Euro. Could you please pick one or the other?

Actually Gallo is "Bird Heavy" as he is taller and heavier than Larry Bird was when playing.

He is also "Stiff Legged Euro" especially since his back operation. More like "Stiff Backed Euro".

However, Gallo is an excellent player. He played guard and SF in Europe and guarded the opposing team's top outside scorer. He handles the ball like a guard, has great hands and body control, uses either hand when driving to the basket as did Bird, and yet now he is a Big. Gallo keeps growing and putting on weight. He looks taller than Amare.

He's definitely the best rebounder on offense. Earlier this season AR was grabbing more rebounds on offense in a few minutes than the elite big men in this league were grabbing over the course of a game.

He is taller than Amare, who is more like 6'9.5" with shoes on.

Hoping that Gallo develops his 3 pt range and in shooting. Love his drives to the rim. Needs to hit the pull up J also. I don't think they would give him up in a trade, but nothing's a sure bet anymore.

He's like a hybrid. The J isn't as deadly, the passes not as nifty and the rebounding is definitely not there. Still, I'm seeing glimpses

Gallo is the player that AR dreams of becoming some day
The new new core: Randle, RJ, IQ. Maybe Mitch. Future pick. Future trade. Future FA.

If i'm the Knicks I just hold on to AR and continue to develop him. Why in the world would I send away a kid with his potential, that's only 21 and still developing and growing? Did we not learn anything from Camby. Just keep working with the youth we already have and that all seem to have such talent and upside. I'm tired of making rush moves. For one thing who exactly are we replacing him with that is supposed to be so great anyway? Especially when you weigh the cost of that player. AR is cheap and still has too much latent talent yet to come out. I treat him like my 1st rd draft pick that i'm still developing and have no intent on sending away.

I would still like to see his outside shot be more consistent.

I think he may have had two airballs last night. Very strange, and I still wonder about the health of his arm, and whether or not it accounts for his inconsistency.

The ironic thing is that right now I feel much more comfortable having him go to the basket than taking long jump shots.

I'd like to see him take some shots a 1' INSIDE the line every now and then, since many of his 3s seem to hit the front rim.

I saw one of the airballs and I'm convinced it was because Mozgov scared the crap out of him as he was lumbering towards him to set a pick.

WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

Very sensible. He's here, he does have skills. Let's not be talking about him tearing up the league on some other team. Send him out on the floor with specific mandates. If he drifts, pull him to the side and reiterate his role. As with any good recipe sample and adjust to taste.

they have very different skillsets actually... AR can become a star just like Gallo can & if he's playing at his best will do things on the floor that Gallo can't & vice versa
