Carl LAndry traded by Sac to N.O. for Thornton + cash.

There goes Landry who had been discussed on this board as a possible acquisition.

Now what does Sac want for Dalembert?

This would be good. Hatian Sensation is a huge ending contract but I don't know who we can send to them that they would actually like.

yeah... I can't see them trading him though. I just read they are below the floor. NBA rules state you must spend 75 percent of the cap

... and if you don't something weird happens: like you pay the difference between what your salary number and the 75% of cap, split it 15 ways and give it to your remaining players. Bonus!

Steve Kyler - 02/24/2011 1:41pm EST-

Sources close to the New York Knicks are saying both Renaldo Balkman and recently acquired Corey Brewer are being shopped by the team.

The Knicks are looking to offload one or both, to open roster spots for potential free agents that could clear waivers in the next week.

If the Knicks cannot find a deal for one or both players, Renaldo Balkman could be bought out to clear at least one roster spot.

I don't understand this either. I would buy out Mason Jr. before Balkman.

AlexKennedyNBA If Brewer or Balkman are dealt to open roster spot, Knicks will pursue free agents Troy Murphy, T.J. Ford, Jared Jeffries or Earl Barron.

Here is to hoping it is the Barron.

Maybe I'm not looking hard enough, but it doesn't seem like there's as many rumors floating around at the 11th hour as past years (granted there's been a few big trades in the past couple days).
