Tommy D is reporting that both Chandler and Amare are in the starting line up as of 5:50.

Of Course, getting the 6th seed is worth throwing the season away for. Seriously, D'Antoni is a very inflexible coach (and I'm not just basing it on playing Stat tonight - which is crazy.) We have a bench, if our regular players need rest, then give it.

I really hope this does not end up being a "cutting off your nose to spite your face" thing...

Absolutely, this team can't afford to take ANYONE lightly. That's how you end up getting blown out by Milwaukee.
But it definitely helps that we're playing Detroit tonight. Moz and AR aren't going to get these chances against Miami or Atlanta. We can afford to rest up Amar'e and still stay competitive with Detroit at least.

And who knows, if our benchwarmers can make the most of this game, maybe they continue to get their chances in future games.

I respect that some feel if your not contending then why bother? But there is so much to a season and the games are good.

I have not enjoyed knick basketball like this in many many years. Not since the 99' post season. regular season was frustrating. But playoff runs even by low seeds can happen.

I never go all in anymore emotionally with a team anyway. its entertainment. Win or lose my life does not change and IM sure as **** not going to change my life for any sports team.

I have at least 35 games this year alone. Thats far more than any full season. In the dark days of isiah and league pass by this time the ship was sunk.
