I would do it in a heartbeat. Nalod.. why do you think ZBo would fail? The Grizz players all like him. He was very good here for a bit under MDA. He's a low cost move that gives you real size. He's got an inside outside game that could co-exist w/ Amare just fine and he's a glass cleaner. I would vote yes, and I think the savings on Azu's contract would be of interest to the Grizz

No thanks. As far as I can tell Zbo is not a team first guy, and he's not worth the disruption to chemistry.

they had an option to trade him, just like any franchise has rather than overpaying to keep a player on Rashard Lewis' level... that contract was worse than the one Gilbert Arenas got, & that one was pretty heinous in its own right.

sorry ur right... i'm thinking in the reverse... at least SEA was smart enough not to sign him to that contract

I remember the original offer ORL made was much more reasonable...but when it was changed into a sign and trade the numbers went up considerably. Very bad move by them.

ZDump is an empty stat machine.

It would be kind to say he does not have the skill set for the way we play ball.

Don't sleep on Z. Unstoppable down low. Double figure rebounder. He may be a black hole on the offensive end, but so is Melo.

I don't think you can call Zach a loser anymore- his teams the last two years have been reasonable.

He has 1 year left, so we keep flexibility, and if we want to go Melo in the off season, we can.

And I think he solves the single biggest problem with our squad: Size and Rebounding.

Your bench now becomes formidable- Turiaf, Chandler & Douglas.

Just looked at his empty stats- he's pulling in 13 boards a game. That's no joke.

I dunno. This remind me of when Zach was brought in the first time around and Isaiah tried to convince us that it would work with Eddy Curry. Zbo is a beast, no doubt. But he and STAT operate from the same positions from the floor. I don't see how those two guys could be effective playing together without their game's hurting.

I think Zach is more of an outside threat than Amare- and the two could co exist. Maybe he doesn't put up 20, but if he brings the threat of a 20pt game every game, and grabs his 10+ boards, we are winning games like last night, instead of losing.

I guess this stuff is really subjective- but if you add Zach cheaply, I can see us as a threat to advance in the play offs- probably not to the finals, but to the ECF- where I don't think we're getting past the first round right now.
